It' s not the management, but some jokers just bringing it down on the basis of O& G related. The large part of the income is generated from the jet fuel supply in the domestic market and the airport in Shanghai Pudong Airport. 1st half result is coming on 30 Jul 21.

It is either that (i) it is of not much interest for shortist, as is moving slower, (ii) or there is still expectation to move up anytime...i guess once the exist from the watch list is approved.

Correct me if I am wrong. Current P/E is based on the past earning which may or may not be repeated. Future P/E is based on expectation or guessing on some business plans which may or may not materialize. As far as I am concern, the market prices are concensus of all players' interest and feeling about the company' s valuation at that moment. Similar to GME, when it was lowly priced, no one raise an eye brow till the hyde came in and the whole world started to jump in because of the greed of quick profit. Those who bought around 480 are hoping to hit 900, yet it' s now 90. The lesson is very simple, when you catch a hot potato in winter, once your hand is warm, pass to someone else, don' t get burn. Do watch out, someone may be pouring hot water instead of hot potato, still want to catch?

Maybe I should be more specific that we should be looking at future p/e (not current p/e for growth counters), ie what is the earnings we are expecting for this counter in the future, and then we derive our own fair value of it.. otherwise we are just investing blindly

| Im not forcing my ideas but earnings is basically what we are looking for at the end of the day.. no counters can escape this in the long run.. eventually results have to meet expectations.. ppl invest in tesla and other so called potential growth counters due to their anticipation that they will grow big and be very profitable.. but ask those investors how much profits are they expecting them to earn years down the road, and many probably do not have any idea.. there are investors (or i would say traders) who have a sharp intuition of where funds would park their money or which counters will continue to go up with strong investor interest, and those are separate argument altogether since those ppl are basing on gut feel & riding on herd mentality of FOMO (luck to put it bluntly) or technical analysis.. but anyway, my point is one should invest base on at least some facts/figures.. what is the fair value price for oceanus? |

Resort World on the whole is doing brisk business at the moment.
Hence, current quarter ending today should be better than previous one.
Previous qtr results was already a surprise to many.
Looking forward to improved results and consequently higher share price.
