The announcement of the mayor's election result occurred just two days after the announcement of GS quarterly results. Because of GS positive results the price was well supported then. Bearing in mind GS is a retail stock, it is therefore highly susceptible to price fluctations and just like a wave, ebb and flow, surf with care.
