There are lot of possibilities and opportunities in the share market...
A margin call is triggered when the investor' s equity falls below the maintenance margin.
The investor must either deposit more money in the account or sell some of the assets / shares held in the account.
For those who long BWL and haven' t made payment or If shareholders used BWL shares pledge against loan, and in the worst case senario he/she used the loan to buy additional BWL shares....
when the share price drop drastically ..... the shareholders kee xiao lew, might face margin call and the Bank will have lot of BWL shares for market to borrow or force sell the shares and hence share price will drop further.
Let' s hope history doesn' t repeat itself.

Even if u can buy back in some other markets with cash the price would be very high as this is opportunity for the sellers to make as u must buy or get punished.

Heard long time ago there was this 3rd channel Cash Market. So one can sell naked in the normal Ready market, next day or before the settlement date, buy back in the Cash market. Sgx is slowly turning into a tinier mickey mouse exchange. It should bring back some form of 3rd channel so that those who were caught naked in the Ready market has the way out to buy back in the ' Cash' market before settlement date. Buy in is only on a fix date where else the ' cash' market can be any day before settlement date. Just a thought to make Sgx more vibrant.

during this one month period price range from $2.60 - $ 1.80 .
They are sure tua huat! Penalty is no sweat for them sub sub swee ....

根据新加坡交易所的数据，全美世界 24日那半天的股票卖空量，接近之前一天全天的卖空量（超过 210万股），
而且卖空量已连续三天接近或超过 200万股，在那三天里占当天交易量的 23％至 43％。

可能受暂停交易影响的，将是 24日和 23日这两天的无票卖空者，
但是上述卖空数量，并不一定都是无票卖空者，也包括借票卖空者，因此无从得知无票卖空的确实数量。

全美世界的股票是暂停交易，即便是已延长多五天，根据有关披露，仍然是使用 " 暂停交易 " 的字眼， 因此在 24日进行无票卖空者，只要能够在规定时间内借到股票，就不至于被罚款和强制买进。

根据条例，只要没有在规定时间内（ T+2，意即卖出后两天内）买回与卖空量相等的股票完全盖盘或者在规定时间（同样是 T+2）内借到足够数量的有关股票，未盖的盘位将被中央托收公司（ CDP）强制 " 买进 " （ Buy-in）。

而根据条例，在该股暂停交易之前如果没及时买回盖盘或借到足够数量的股票，势将面对 1000元或强制买进后仍剩未盖盘位总值的 5％惩罚，视何者为高。换句话说，只要没及时盖盘，不论未盖盘位多少，罚款至少 1000元。

Yes, Regco could do more. Maybe it should hire some people from this and other forums. Both perpetual bulls and perpetual skeptics. Some people spend a lot of time on only some stocks and they could be hired to do some good works on a part-time basis. Just an idea. LOL.

I hope so too. It has been encouraging so far. They gave the order that the company must report to them on all terms of reference for engaging the independent reviewer. This is good. In the past, there was no such accountability. Datapulse is an example.

It shouldn' t be a case where we shut out short sellers just because their opinion is different from the consensus. After all, there are many sell-side analysts who give irresponsible buy recommendations. In my view. This is just as bad. In China MLM is illegal.

报告指出，虽然特许经营计划提高销售额，但货品滞销库存是一个隐忧。 不过，对全美压力最大的还是来自两个卖空集团的报告。

上个星期三，美国卖空公司 博力达思研究 (BR)直指全美世界是个骗局，虚增了 2017年的销售额以及净利。
此外，它声称，在 《商业时报》 刊登文章后，皙之密的线上卖家开始虚增产品的交易量和评论，以展示虚假的线上活跃度。
另一方面，这家卖空机构指出，它实地走访 12个全美世界生活馆，发现有八个不出售产品给非会员。它指全美在没有获得直销准证之前，以直销的方式销售护肤产品。

与此同时，另一个卖空组织 Valiant Varrios也在网站上发布报告，指全美的实体店是传销业务的门面，它实际上是用来招募以及训练新销售员的训练中心。
一旦中国当局介入调查，集团一半的营业额可能化为乌有。

全美世界目前处于围城状态。根据彭博社的报道，全美世界是卖空最多的新加坡股票。多家股票行也对这只股实施交易限制。
此外，新加坡交易所监管公司要求全美世界进行全面独立的检讨审查，让股东对美国卖空机构提出的所有指控，有更全面的了解。
卖空机构的指责，也可能引发中国当局的调查。

There is so much that took place after that, the drowning of the uni student case, the 18 year old lady case, recently the baby was killed after eating Quanjian case. After all these cases, you see most wrong do-ers are already gone.
In fact, the most recent check on 24/2/2019, there were 0 wrong doing report from BWL.

This can only tell us that so far BWL franchise model is within the law of the enforcer.

There is so much that took place after that, the drowning of the uni student case, the 18 year old lady case, recently the baby was killed after eating Quanjian case. After all these cases, you see most wrong do-ers are already gone.
