1. During the last RI, TH has already said that they wanna continue to float SM in the market. But these negativists cook and cook stories for privatization.

2. If TH really wants to privatize SM, they should do it at $0.08.

Total number of shares not own by TH = 14.28b
If privatized at $0.12 = (0.12-0.08) x 14.28 = $0.5712b. Which means TH has to pay $0.5712b more at $0.12. That works out to be $1.7b at $0.12 for the balance shares TH not owning.

3. Indirectly, these negativists admit that SM is in much better shape and market conditions are much better for SM&rsquo s industry. That is the ground they keep saying TH privatizing SM. This is what I am super happy to hear

DC is honest to admit him joining the long position though some paper loss.

Yes, I think there is still meat, had bought another 500 lots at average 9.15 cents. BETTER has already said a few days ago that it will consolidate at 9 cents for a while before it shoot up to 10. I think this is healthy and more sustainable. I don't think the 8 series will be revisited.

NTA per share of around 0.15 sounds about right if we take away the over provision made in FY 2021.

Most likely the merger may be based on Book a value using 2022 FY as benchmark.
This may favour SM as they have a huge chunk of cost already provided in 2021 and will reverse back.

Book Value is around 0.12 plus and the correct book value after writing back should be 0.15.

Not sure about this. Perhaps better can comment.

In any case, if you have subscribed to the 2 rights issue, your average would be about 16 cents. Temasek' s average is about 14 cents.

Many of the SCM supporters here are averaging about 8-9 cents. Those who wanted to sell would have sold already much earlier.
