How about Venture Corp? Used to be $29. Did you predict that it will drop? How about OCBC? OCBC was traded at $50 plus back in the 1970s.  I thought OCBC, Venture are good counters. Why dropped so much leh?   Live example for SM that can' t be denied lo. We are investors. We can only make money when price moves. If you bought SM at $0.08, you would make:- ($0.092-0.08) x 500,000 = $6000 profit   What if you sold at $0.097? ($0.097-0.08) = $8,500   And, I am very sorry for those who took your advice to short at $0.08. Not only are they making a loss of $8,500 but still paying short financing cost for months.   Are you giving sound advice, as of now? If you aren' t, why people need to hear you?   Lastly, when you are coming to the food court, don' t ask for alaska lobster. If you need fine dining, please pay a higher price. Please go and buy Amazon, Apple leh. Certainly, they are good counters. But how many Amazon, Apple shares can you buy?   I can&rsquo t afford fine dining (Amazon, Apple), that' s why I eat at the food court (SM). Please be realistic lo. We are no longer babies. Please don&rsquo t keep looking back. I hope I am not talking to a babe

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Exactly.  I hv posted before how SCM shares performed the last two yrs as compared to other TH counters .  The figures are clear.  I am thankful that I decided to sell SCM before the 2nd RI last yr. How about 8% instead? Besides, I am sitting on capital appreciation now.  Apart from that, more calls buy from brokerage firms are expected after merger And, from the corporation' s viewpoint, as TH owns more than 50%, it is highly possible that SM becomes a prime vehicle for TH in consolidating its associations with SM.

BETTER has already said a few days ago that it will consolidate at 9 cents for a while before it shoot up to 10. I think this is healthy and more sustainable. I don't think the 8 series will be revisited.
