This is not for the short term punting.
I am waiting for XD to increase my holding for retirement planning. My target is 4 to 7% annual dividend return.
Now waiting to see if a fellow forummers quote of a certain house target of $2.89 (many months ago) is coming true.

Yes yes i agree with that view. From a technical standpoint, it has been testing the 3.16 level for a while and it dropped 2%+ and I expect further decline especially if it breaks the $3 psychological point. But from a fundamental POV, $2.50 would be quite a fair price to buy it. I think the drop is also attributed to a market wide correction since low interest rates have driven up equity values so much over the past few years and now is the time for a much needed adjustment.

For the short term, due to the coming dividend, xd on 23/07/2018, Shortist will be extra careful on shorting and those on short positions probably will be covering from beginning to mid of July. as for US Bond rate the trigger number for 10yrs is ~3.1% (where yeild is suppose to accelarate its increase) and 5% (when it suppose to starts to hurt the economy and things begin to slow down). Company paying ~5.5% .....is not bad. This coupled with the critical role telco play in connecting people and information sharing which is a biz that help spuned the Tech Giants, I think its about time the Tech Giants do something to secure the telco asset class to protect their Turfs in their respective biz.

Yes, Singtel and it regional partners/subsidaries needs to adapt to the changing biz environment in their respective markets. Singtel and its Partners/Susidaries are either No.1 or No.2 in Singapore, Australia, India, Indonesia,Thailand and Philippines.

In my opinion, the pennies market is still recovering from the Midas shock. With continued strength, more and more investors will be interested in this counter and do their own due diligent on it. In all likelyhood, they will come to the conclusion that Kris is a company that has turned the corner and on a recovery path.

In expansion mode with incrasing revenue and profits. Have manufacturing facilities in Singapore, Malaysia and USA (surprise, surprise) so Trump' s trade retriction will have limited impact on UMS. IMO, DYDD.

Maybe he is just good at finding gems? in this case, a gem that has lost its sparkle and is now being polished again. Once the polishing is done, it will sparkle brightly again. IMO.
