DBS, Maybank and RHB ramp up target prices for UMS Integration after " stellar" 2Q DBS Group Research, Maybank Securities and RHB Singapore have reinforced their conviction in UMS Integration, keeping their &ldquo buy&rdquo calls with higher target prices after the semiconductor equipment manufacturer&rsquo s &ldquo stellar&rdquo quarterly results. For 2QFY2026 ended June 30, earnings for UMS jumped 89% y-o-y to $19.4 million, lifting 1HFY2026 earnings by 66% y-o-y to $33.4 million. Revenue for 1HFY2026 was up 25% y-o-y to $156.5 million, driven by both the semiconductor business and aerospace segment, operated mainly via its separately listed unit JEP Holdings. Lee Keng Ling from DBS identifies multiple growth drivers to remain upbeat in her Aug 17 report. These include expected higher volume in the short term and new product development in the medium-to-long term for a new customer robust demand for integrated systems from an existing customer and &ldquo strong&rdquo semiconductor industry tailwinds which are expected to sustain the semiconductor upcycle. She also notes expansion of UMS&rsquo s production in Penang and Vietnam, which positions the firm to benefit from supply chain diversification amid ongoing US-China trade tensions. Lee raises her valuation of the company from the previous $3.17 to $3.62, pegged to 38 times of forecast FY2027 P/E. She expects 2027 to be a stronger year on &ldquo favourable&rdquo semiconductor capex, capacity expansion and new programme qualifications, while advanced packaging, leading-edge logic, DRAM and aerospace remain the key growth drivers, with next-generation tools adding further upside into 2028-29. Meanwhile, Jarrick Seet from Maybank raised his target price to $3.43 from the previous $3.21. He cites a results beat from UMS for his move, raising FY2026/2027 estimated earnings by 7.6%/6.8% respectively, valuing the stock at 35 times projected FY2027 P/E. He notes the new customer&rsquo s request for UMS to expand its capacity in his Aug 16 report. UMS is set to meet higher demand, supported by production capacity growth in Penang, with $100 million budgeted for facility expansion. He notes management aims to reach a $300 million annual run rate with this customer in 5-8 years time. Seet expects the &ldquo super&rdquo second quarter to continue into the latter half of the year due to &ldquo robust&rdquo customer demand. Seet believes UMS could be a beneficiary of the AI capex cycle and expects margin expansion due to higher utilisation and operating leverage. Similar to Lee and Seet, RHB&rsquo s Alfie Yeo perceives UMS as a long-term beneficiary of the AI boom. UMS&rsquo s earnings were also &ldquo ahead of estimates&rdquo for Yeo and he raises earnings projection for FY2026 by 13% and FY2027-2028 by 9%. Yeo notes that UMS&rsquo s involvement in the advanced packaging value chain will help it tap into the growth in advanced packaging of AI chips over the longer term and may help it accelerate towards its $300 million order target for its new key customer if advanced packaging order volume rises. At a higher target of $3.69 from the previous $3.37, Yeo values UMS at 40 times FY2027 projected P/E. Key downside risks for the analysts include slow progress for new customer order ramp-up or slower demand recovery. Shares in UMS are down six cents or 2% to $2.81 as at 12 pm on Aug 18. |

Should be very positive for UMS going into the next 2Q for 2026.
Just need to convincingly pierce the $3.00 mark in coming weeks. The sentiment for Buy into UMS is much better and higher as compared to maybe Frencken. Just my thoughts. |

Finally got Analyst cut TP. And lowered the target PE ratio.  Revised TP (at low end of street estimates) is still higher than current share price though.   |

It was a strong opening for UMS and AEM this morning and Frencken took a hit. This is stock market, there will be volatility. Some will benefit and some will not. Anyhow, if a stock that sudden surge, some may take profit and come back later. If there is a sudden drop, and, worsen by shortists, may consider to buy some. The shortists have to cover back, it is just a matter of time. After some time, the market will still find the correct prices for these stocks. Exciting game 😊

UMS Integration 2QFY2026 earnings up 89% y-o-y 1HFY2026 up 66% UMS Integration has reported earnings of $19.4 million for its 2QFY2026, up 89% over the year earlier period. This brings its half year bottom line to $33.4 million, an increase of 66% over the six months ended June 2025. Revenue for 1HFY2026 was up 25% to $156.5 million, driven by both its semiconductor and aerospace segments, operated mainly via its separately listed unit JEP Holdings. The company plans to pay a second interim dividend of 1 cent per share. UMS CEO Andy Luong says the company' s " stellar" report card for 2QFY2026 can be attributed to the strong AI " super-cycle" . " We are optimistic of continued robust growth going forward as our current level of performance has yet to reflect the full contribution from several new manufacturing services that we are setting up and progressing through customer qualification. " Our key customers have also given strong forecasts of equipment demand for several years ahead," he adds. In the coming months, UMS will be working closely with its new major customer to help introduce a new product. To better support the growing demand, UMS had earlier announced plans to expand into Vietnam. Luong says the outlook for the aerospace business also remains " very bright." " Despite ongoing turbulence from the Middle East crisis and trade tensions among the world&rsquo s superpowers, air travel demand remains resilient," he says. The company expects to " remain profitable" for the whole of FY2026. UMS Integration shares closed at $2.70 on Aug 13 up 5.06% for the day, extending a gain of 134.78% year to date. JEP Holdings shares, on the other hand, closed at 57 cents. It is up 103.57% year to date. |

The daily price will go up and down, very difficult to predict. However, mid to long term, this should be up. Thus, no contract.

This is the most powerful indication of what' s to come for UMS as mentioned by Andy Luong : " Brighter Prospects Commenting on the Group&rsquo s performance, Mr Andy Luong, UMS&rsquo CEO said, &ldquo The Group delivered a stellar performance in 2QFY2026, with both our key Semiconductor and Aerospace businesses delivering outstanding results on the back of the strong AI &lsquo super-cycle&rsquo and sustained aviation boom worldwide. We are optimistic of continued robust growth going forward as our current level of performance has yet to reflect the full contribution from several new manufacturing services that we are setting up and progressing through customer qualification. Our key customers have also given strong forecasts of equipment demand for several years ahead.&rdquo   UMS' s share price should fly past $3 and move towards RHB Research target of $3.37.
