Bank interest rate is 2%-3%, but perps have to pay out more than 5% leh. They also borrowed thinking abou a bid for Japan, but that never happened. Anyway, you only need to borrow money when you are cash starved and crunched, not when you have about $5billion in the kitty methinks. So, please redeem ASAP!

Yep, they did guide for a possible loss in the short term. So, the low profitability is to be expected. In fact, losses in the next few qtrs cld still be on the cards if oil px remains low, translating into low electricity px in spore. I think the real improvement in profit will come when TO (TuasOne) starts accepting refuse for incineration in three yrs time.

Read that if securities act was breached, company will be penalised provided it's financially viable which in this case is not. Director will be banned from assuming director role for 3 years. So in the end, we still the one to be penalised coz company funds come from shareholders.
