 Alert Admin 		5.1 when oil was $100, no one questioned, Why? This will be in the internal inquiry. 5.1.2 need to be prudent but 5.1.1, did not question is not being prudent. Para 6, contentment or illusion? Para 1, Evry seller, there's a buyer. I don't want to be a hero.

I read many negative and doomsayers comments today and the last few days.  Can understand when we lost big money and see our favourite blue chips hit /one by one.  But I just wish we can recall and remember this during bad times...

​ 1. Every one sell there is a buy.
2. Out banks are still the best run in asia ( ok if not SEAsia )  ...I am sure at any time many oversea bb are waiting to eat it up.
3. DBS makes $1B a qtr /OCBC still makes $880M in Q2....sorry I dont follow UOB.....our banks are still meeting all needed requirement
4. DBS pay 60c dividend / OCBC 36c 4.2% ...or so ...the data you all can see in their balance sheet

THe recent bad loans are part of doing business....when oil is at $100, no one mentioned that they loan too much to a and b.
Of course they have to be prudent in who to loan and amount to loan.....but its all in the business of banking.

If we have invested in them , we continue to believe in our investment ....we are still paid dividends.
Someday it will reover /just like the economy . ( recall SAR time....someone wrote ...Singapore will be gone.  Did we ? )
Doom sayers would add salt and pepper.....we ( only we ourselves ) can read and believe the truth and false data/
I believe in our banks and know they will recover much stronger out of this cycle. ( Just like Singapore ....our next 50 years. )

 Alert Admin 		Dbs at 15.5 to 16, was an example of high cn go higher. Now, breaking 15, low can go lower. Dividend play of 60cents which most people r looking, buying at 15 and deducting. 6 for dividend off will mke u nothg. Buy and hold is passé. Continue ur positive ways.it's only an illusion, time to wake up.

Be very careful, if MAS impose higher reserve ratio, there may be right issue.

MAS' objective is to protect the bank so that they don' t close, MAS' job is not to protect the banks' shareholders. I hope ppl can see the difference here.
