-- Crude stockpiles dropped less than expected last week and marked the fourth-straight weekly draw, according to the Energy Information Administration.

Inventory declined by 1.6 million barrels last week, falling short of expectations for a draw of 2.67 million barrels. Inventory dropped 4.5 million barrels the previous week.

The data follows the American Petroleum Institute's own report, which said Tuesday that last week's inventory dropped more than 4.2 million barrels.

Crude stored at the Cushing, Oklahoma, facility dropped 607,000 barrels after rising 1.3 million barrels the previous week. Traders had expected a draw of 1.98 million barrels

The lending pool is low for a very long time.
Meaning very few lenders and no borrowers.
But don't know why got so many short sellers on the day after the bad result?

Friends - i tried posting this earlier but it didnt come through. Just FYI (from vesselfinder.com), possible crude transfer occuring now in Oman between Bull Papua and an oil products tanker St - Jacobi.
Hope this will cause some positive price movements tomorrow.

 

Unlikely.
Volume today is low. Tomorrow should be about the same. No catalyst to push up. May see under 170.
But must remember to take profits.
