OPEC, or the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, has 13 members led by Saudi Arabia. It also has 10 non-members allies that include Russia. It announced this week that demand for oil could be slower than expected, despite production cuts by its enlarged OPEC+ group.

 

The drop in 2020 revenue and net profit forecasts are due to a delay in oil production from our previous assumptions and the extremely low oil price in 1H20. The large increase in revenue and net profit forecasts for 2021 and 2022 are due to full-year contributions from Yumna, absence of start-up costs and higher oil price assumptions. 

- Analyst already expected the poorer 2020 showing from their last report.... looking fwd to 2h20 with brent above 40..
