Noble nabs new rig contracts
Noble Corporation's newbuild Globetrotter I drillship will kick off a 10-year contract with Shell in April, with work initially slated for the Gulf of Mexico, the company said in its latest fleet status report. The dynamically positioned vessel, capable of drilling in upto 10,000 feet of water, is currently undergoing sea trials and will work at a day rate of $424,000 for the first five years of its contract. The contractor's Jim Day semisubmersible has also been signed to a three-year Shell contract at a dayrate of $530,000 starting in January 2013, the drilling contractor said. The 2009-rebuilt rig had been in the Gulf since mid-July and is slatedto wrapupits term in mid-February at a day-rate of $485,000. The rig had 27 days of downtime, rather than the 14 originally reported. Noble also disclosed that its Leonard Jones jack-up had sustainedł damage´ after coming detachedfrom a tow while returning from a Pemex job, but did not elaborate. The company estimates the rig will be prepared to start another three-year contract for Pemex in March 2012. It's part of a trio that also includes the Bill Jennings and Eddie Paul jackups that will kick off similar Pemex contracts early this year. Other downtime announced included the Noble Driller (31 days, up from 27), Noble Dave Beard(34 days, upfrom 19) and the Noble Muravlenko (14 days), accounting for maintenance.

On Wednesday, Sembmar broke the resistance at $4.36 and closed at $4.41 with HIGH volume of 23.9 million shares traded.
A rising window occurred (where the top of the previous shadow is below the bottom of the current shadow). This usually implies a continuation of a bullish trend. There have been 7 rising windows in the last 50 candles–this makes the current rising window even more bullish.
Three white candles occurred in the last three days. Although these candles were not big enough to create three white soldiers, the steady upward pattern is bullish.
RSI & MACD are bullish though RSI in overbought region.
Important Resistance of Sembmar: $4.53
Immediate Support of Sembmar: $4.36
