What would cause the rebound? This stock has been climbing from $3.80 to a high of 5.30 purely on sentiment since January 2012. At the present price of 4.45, it is still expensive at 3.6 times book value and 11 times earnings. Chances are, the euro crisis will drive this stock back down below $4.00.

I find that SembMarine had been holding well as compared to KepCorp......it look to me that it is going to drop more soon.....

SembMarine's unit secures $130m worth of contracts

Sembcorp Marine on Thursday said its subsidiary, Sembawang Shipyard, has secured three major contracts totalling S$130 million.
The first contract, awarded by Sonangol Pesquisa e Producao SA (SNLPP) is for major repairs and upgrading of the 20 year old FSO Palanca.
Major work scope includes the renewal of the vessel's cargo piping system and pumps, tank blasting and coating, and cables renewal for the entire electrical system. The existing 30-men accommodation block will be redesigned and rebuilt to accommodate 60 men. The new accommodation block will include a new helideck to meet the vessel's operational requirements.
The vessel is expected to enter Sembawang Shipyard in August 2012 and, upon completion, will return to Palanca Terminal in offshore Angola.
4.80 is still acceptable if dividend of 4.1% per annum. hold it.
if u dont need the money dont contra for blue chips.....4.8 is not acceptionally high

Wise words. If you did not contra, you won't lose money. Not with Semb Marine. Just a matter of how long to hold that's all.

The difference is knowing exactly how much you'd lose if you sell now, or not knowing at all if you wait till tomorrow - could be worse, could be better - no one knows! If you're not prepared to hold if price drops further than it is now, better to cut now than to wait. Just my opinion.

I bought SembMar last week at 4.80..tomorrow is the last day for me to sell. Looking at the situation niw, i am sure this share will not go above 4.80 by tomorrow. But do you think I should sell it today or tomorrow? At what price should I queue to sell?
