Well, I had thought that they cld cross the line. That they didn' t proves that there is real resolve to block the major owners. This is a real +ve. However, px is likely to tank to abt 18c or so .....
we live to fight another day .... hopefully come back with $super$ offer next time ..

As said in morning the privatosation failed .88% only Shares will return to CDP free balance account. Maybe next change wait lah...

Indomie maker' s 32.75 S cents revised buyout offer for Indofood Agri ' not fair but reasonable' : IFA

THE independent financial adviser (IFA) for mainboard-listed Indofood Agri Resources (IndoAgri) said Indomie maker Indofood Sukses Makmur' s latest buyout offer of 32.75 Singapore cents per share for the company is " not fair but reasonable" .
Novus Corporate Finance had similarly said that the previous offer of S$0.28 per share was " not fair but reasonable" .
The IFA has advised the recommending directors to recommend that shareholders accept the offer, unless shareholders are able to obtain a price higher than the final offer price on the open market.
It said the buyout offer is " not fair" as the new offer price still represents a steep 59 per cent discount to IndoAgri&rsquo s unaudited net asset value (NAV) per share of 79.8 Singapore cents as at March 31.
