1. Retreat of Oil Price is temporary contingent on China covid management, it will come back hard and pain

2. The surge to $130 per barrel had already got big energy firms back to their senses to focus more on clean energy and SM is in this game. More capex by these firms and more contracts soon to be announced.

3. Any oil price surge in future will augment point 2 in a vicious cycle manner

Hence, Alls well for SM and ends well for SM.

$0.11>$0.124

So, even if oil price retreats, big energy companies had enough of too much reliance on fossil fuel. The direction is CLEAR: go Green! And SM is in this game!

We are small island. We cannot compete with Korea Japan China especially in LNG new builds. Still SM is Number 1 in LNG repairs and upgrades. LNG is also in a way a go green strategy.

Yes.  This is a public forumner.  Anyone can pose freely his/her view. Whether SCM will go up close to $1 or drop close to 4c, we will get a clearer picture when KC and SCM announce the decision of the negotiations.

The two camps are still sticking with their beliefs:
1. Camp 1 says that SCM is having financial trouble and terms will not be favourable and it will drop closer to 4c
2. Camp 2 says that SCM is poised for  good times ahead and will rise close to $1

Basically no  change in views. I do not know who is gambling with who.  But certainly there are two diverse and opposing opinions
