OVERWEIGHT (Upgraded)
Malaysia Petronas 1H22 Report Card: High FCF To Support Doubling Of Dividends Petronas announced to double dividend payouts to RM50b, on the back of fat FCF and more disposal proceeds to come. With the conclusion of the dividend issue, we believe capex will ramp up, focusing on maintenance and production towards 2H22. Petronas is also open to higher rate renegotiations. Both are positive for the sector, and we note there is value now in sector valuations. Hence, upgrade the sector to OVERWEIGHT. We also highlight Petronas subsidiaries as potential trades.

Today up one cent not bad still got hope ,, oil price is up so many maintenance jobs waiting...
Closed at 50 in last 3 trading days with low volume. Not gonna move till at least mid July. Shortist do not pay if can' t hold.
Unlikely to move much as the overall sentiments are getting worse... stagflation looming high
