Have to set the cost of acquisition and loan interests how it affects the bottom line. I wonder if they can post a good quarter after this acquisition or it will take a few quarters to materialise? Any idea? short term pinch vs long term growth and value.
Coal won' t go anywhere la unless the environmentalist take over the governments of the world.
By the time Geo reaches your tp I would have collected the dividends already.

good closing for Geo at highest for the year......
this peak coal say for very long alrdy..later extend and extend.. china and india power up coal usage as it is the cheapest energy source.. these 2 power house enough for cover for the worlds consumption

The Board of Directors (the &ldquo Board&rdquo ) of Geo Energy Resources Limited (the &ldquo Company&rdquo or
&ldquo Geo Energy&rdquo , and together with its subsidiaries, the &ldquo Group&rdquo ) refers to:
(a) the announcement made by the Company in relation to the acquisition of 58.65% of
the issued shares of PT Golden Eagle Energy Tbk (&ldquo GEE&rdquo ) and
(b) the circular to shareholders of the Company in relation to the acquisition of up to 16.35%
of the issued shares of GEE pursuant to a mandatory tender offer (" MTO" ).
The Board wishes to update that the MTO was launched on 23 November 2023 and the
transaction was completed on 27 December 2023 with T+2 settlement terms.
Pursuant to the MTO, PT Geo Energy Investama (&ldquo GEI&rdquo ) acquired 455,499,372 of GEE shares,
representing 14.46% of the total issued share capital of GEE at a price of IDR1,305.50 per
share. Following the MTO, number of GEE shares held by GEI is as follow:

i believe those shorts are from their own hands.. i dont see any reason to short this counter at the moment.. and those shorts are not small kars.. how many millions shares shorted..the big kars just want to hold the price down so that they can force retailers to give up.. and buy as much shares as possible

i believe those shorts are from their own hands.. i dont see any reason to short this counter at the moment.. and those shorts are not small kars.. how many millions shares shorted..the big kars just want to hold the price down so that they can force retailers to give up.. and buy as much shares as possible

Geo Energy announces first coal export shipment from newly-acquired PT Triaryani mine
Geo Energy Resources RE4 0.00% has announced the completion of its first export shipment of coal from the recently acquired PT Triaryani mine, sold at a premium to Trafigura Asia Trading on Dec 22.
The shipment of 55,000 tonnes of coal was valued at around US$3.2 million ($4.2 million) based on the average selling price of approximately US$58.98 per tonne.
Considering the average Indonesian Coal Index (ICI) 4,200 GAR price stood at US$58.05 per tonne as at Dec 15, Geo Energy says the premium on its maiden shipment sold is an indication of favourable demand for coal from PT Triaryani.
PT Triaryani is a subsidiary of PT Golden Eagle Energy Tbk, in which Geo Energy holds a 58.65% stake. PT Triaryani has been valued at some US$1 billion with proven and probable reserves of 275 million tonnes of low sulphur and low ash coal.
The company says it is currently in discussions with potential off-takers to secure a life-of-mine offtake for the PT Triaryani coal, adding that the arrangement would provide more stability to its sales strategy and bring in an international world class commodity group as a long-term partner.
CEO Charles Melati says: &ldquo We target to ramp up PT Triaryani coal production over the next few years to 25 million tonnes per annum, as we expedite the completion of the construction of the integrated infrastructure. This will put Geo Energy in a good position towards achieving its vision of becoming a billion-dollar business.&rdquo
