Cannot understand why people are negative about placement ?

One must understand the investors/companies who took up the placement, usually in millions or ten of millions $$$, they are into the game  as saint ?

These investors / companies  dont invest for nothing, of course they see value and put their $ near their mouth and of course they are looking at high risk high return, you think they come in with millions to win 3% which is better than they put in the bank ??? yes, they may make mistakes...but if they have so much $ to invest, they are definitely not simple minded to not do their calculation...
