Swiss fellas giving free Ang Bao to Geo shareholders for Feb till Jun' 24
Among other things, Resource Invest will buy US$5 million of Geo Energy&rsquo s treasury shares this month (Feb 2024) at S$0.45 per share.
(It will buy another US$5 million tranche of treasury shares in Feb 2025 at S$0.50 per share). |
Furthermore, Resource Invest will purchase Geo Energy shares in the open market for an aggregate US$20 million, comprising
i) US$10 million within the next 4 weeks or in any event by 31 March 2024, and
ii) another US$10 million within the next 8 weeks or in any event by 30 June 2024.

There is a high chance of Geo being target of takeover. In order to reach compulsory acquisition, the selling price may even reach $1.00

Probably the European Swiss company foresee that Geo price will at least be above their stated purchase price of S$0.50 in their second batch purchased.
I assume S$0.80-0.90 level will be a confortable range for Geo to move. |

Since it' s an European investment co, maybe it will attract more European investment co to invest in Geo too? I think Geo mgt also wants to invest now since they know it' s going be much more profitable henceforth.
