The Board of Directors (the " Board" ) of AsiaMedic Limited (the " Company" ) wishes to announce that it has today been informed by Grandiflora Pte. Ltd. (" Grandiflora" ) and Mr. Tan Wang Cheow (collectively the " Vendors" and each a " Vendor" ) that the Vendors have today entered into a sale and purchase agreement with Luye Medicals Group Pte. Ltd. (the " Purchaser" ) pursuant to which the Vendors have agreed to sell, and the Purchaser has agreed to purchase, an aggregate of 95,431,396 ordinary shares representing approximately 28.15% of the issued and paid-up share capital of the Company at a price of $0.18 per share. The Vendors have further informed the Board that the sale and purchase of the abovementioned shares is expected to be completed on 3 June 2015 (the " Completion" ). The Board has also been informed that upon Completion: (a) Grandiflora will cease to be a substantial shareholder of the Company and (b) Grandiflora and Mr Tan Wang Cheow will cease to be shareholders of the Company altogether. Further, the Board has been notified that: (a) Mr Tan Wang Cheow will resign as a Director of the Company with effect from 3 June 2015 and (b) Grandiflora' s nominees to the Board, Mr Andi Solaiman and Ms Suzanne Liau will resign as Directors of the Company with effect from 3 June 2015. In addition, the Vendors have requested the Board to consider 3 nominees of the Purchaser, Dr Hong Hai (Independent Director), Mr Tan Soo Kiat (Non-Executive Director) and Mr Koh Boon How (Kenneth) (Alternate to Mr Tan Soo Kiat) for appointment as Directors of the Company upon Completion. The Nominating Committee of the Company and the Board have considered the request, and after deliberation, it was resolved that the appointments be effective from Completion. asiamedic share price have not moved much. Hope with today turnover asiamedic will improve
Diagnostic imaging business is highly capital intensive with machines upwards 500k. The team that can best interpret
the scan , can make or break the business. And here is where Asiamedic team excels.
The business model can be highly scaled up and across through geographics ( expand to China clinics) and can be
highly cash generative.
Due to the higher medical-legal cost in practical medicine. More practioneers are recommending diagnostic imaging
to supplement interpretation to a medical condition. Higher paying clients are willing to pay top dollars to scan.
Please do you homework.....
SMG is one of the recent medical stocks that had done very well with a turnaround story and also identified diagnostics as one of their key growth drivers.
from my basic understanding, Asiamedic is one of the top players, at least in SG in diagnostics, could this potentially be the next healthcare play? any advice or inputs would be much appreciated.
Luye recently acquired an Australian company, Healthe Care for $938m in the same space. could the parent company be considering some form of integration to Asiamedic given the synergies that might be available? would be interesting to see how the Luye' s management unlocks shareholder value after their previous acquisition of shares from previous management at 18c.
compared to peers, valuations for Asiamedic are cheap - trading at just 2x PB compared to other medical peers of 5-10x. any thoughts on this?

Heard that Asiamedic has one of the best radiology department in the business . No wonder
Luye paid a premium . Am keeping this stock for long term.

Agree wth edwin....first half results...half yr EPS $0.001/share extrapolate to full year x 2 +$0.002/share n @ current prx $0.073cts PE is 36.5x n net asset backing is $0.042/share....so much depends whether their current biz picks up significantly or luye comes up wth something for the co..
