This seems to be the view among brokers and analysts after the company announced a 20:1 share consolidation exercise on Feb 26 as it unveiled its full-year earnings for 2023.

Good to also see that they managed to report core operating profit in 2H23 after a few difficult years.
Now the issue is how much some of the covering analysts will cut TP given that most have it pegged to PB (1.4-1.5x and if so, then most would need to cut TPs by quite a fair bit but that wouldnt be accounting for the return to profitability in FY24 and the trajectory ahead. This will involve covering analysts changing their modeling of the stock.

What is a $1.9 billion non cash write-off vs a $500 million postive cashflow and $600 million EBITDA. Nothing. That is creative accounting. All the write-offs will translate to higher operating profit in the future.
Seems like Seatrium is shifting towards an asset lite model with higher recurring income by signing longer term fleet based servicing contracts
