I don't know how they can allocate that 22 million midterms says but it won't have much impact on near term profits. From price action last 2 months alone, there are very bearish signals that are difficult for bears to ignore.

How high Chasen will go up today will depend on institution investors, I bet Chasen will moved up above 0.12 at least just on retail and contra trading today
22 million SGD to be allocated for new opportunities to be identified. I wonder what they intend to do with the money. Huat chasen.

I am just trying to say a special dividend does not necessarily mean the share price will gap up by the same amount. As an example, on 27feb2024, Samudera Shipping released its Financial Statement and declared special dividend of $0.08. The share price was 0.71 that day. The next day, the share price gap up by only 0.03 at opening to 0.74. It hit 0.75 intraday and closed 0.73. Of course, every counter is different. If Chasen does gap up to 0.124 like what you say, then a BIG congratulations to all holders .. |
