Wonder how is the going regarding DBS intention to set foot into Malaysia banking business?
It has been 10 months since the rumour first surfaced. At that time, 2 options were available.
One is Temasek 29.1% stake in Alliance Bank (worth about $611m).
The other is Kuwait Finance House Malaysian retail banking assets worth USD500m.
Since then, nothing has been heard. Anybody have news to share?  

 

After few days of down, today finally u turned?

 

No lah.

Probably because CEO already met ROE target of 15-17%.   So now she can shake leg for awhile and preserve ammo.

Haha, same thinking and i believe it is likely to be the case.

 

 

if it closes above 50.70, it is a win.

 

I expect some profit taking tomorrow.

So I stay away for awhile.

Otherwise may be influenced to take profits too...

Anyway, dividend is safely secured for August payout.

Congrats to all loyal shareholders.

1H reporting well underway with positive surprises in profit growth.

No wonder the bulls are stampeding.

Bear better go away for awhile.
