Totally and utterly agree on Keppel
My concern is more macro though ?
Last few days on Wall Street very very negative
1. Apple starting to break down
2. FAANG stocks in general breaking down
Could this be a prelude to a drop at least to 3400 on S&P and maybe as low as 3,000 ?
Could we be about to see capitulation and a crash down a further 20% ?
If so unfortunately Keppel could crop temporarily with the rout if it happens

Following US stock market drop, Keppel price was dropping from $7 to $6.78 from Monday to Wednsday.
When US market moved up yesterday, its price moves up today.
It means Keppel price is prone to drop in US stock market.
US stock market is expected to go lower in coming months due to rising interest rate and recession.
It means Keppel price is expected to go lower in coming months as well.

Sensible minds far outnumber insensible minds. We can expect some insensible minds here who will be influenced by instigators. But good sense will prevail and sensible minds will overwhelmingly approve the proposed KOM/SCM merger

Any minority SH who thinks he knows more abt KOM and SCM than TH, KC, SCM mgmts, JPM and CS is deceiving himself because he doesnt have access to confidential plans and information which are important for wise decision making,

They have reiterated that the merger terms and conditions are fair and will remain for minority SHs to vote. TH, KOM and SCM are supremely confident that proposed merger will be approved, Need they say more?.

So this cut off of KOM is ideal into SM ....remaining the high tech knowhow within local companies . Certainly this is also what Temasek wishes

Dissenting minority SHs will scoff at my confidence that the proposed KOM/SCM merger will be approved by a wide margin. Let wise investors do due diligence and prosper with most of us.. Always bet on the winning horse and avoid losers. Anyway it is everyone' s own money. Always bet on the favourite rather than the loser
