For sure palm oil will recovered once the dust settle. The question is can GA weather through? The company has go through many crisis,. I think this time also no an exception.
Palm oil is the cheapest and most consumed oil in the world and is used in many products. Whether it is good or bad, we can't avoid using or eating it. Hence palm oil companies can die but palm oil cannot. Other palm oil companies can die but this sick elephant will continue breathing because it is the biggest palm oil company in Indonesia which is the world number one palm oil producing country and is owned by the second richest family there who has very good relationship with the government. Its share price is down because of MANY reasons and I believe it will continue to go down.

Yes can monitor CPO prices. Not vested yet, but will buy some if hit 0.14... That guy is welcome to talk down golden-agri in the meantime hahahaa

Commodities price like crude oil, soybean are near or at bottom now. and definitely rebounce when inflation kick in and consumption start to pick up. So, be patient and wait. Monitor the crude oil and soybean prices and this would probably give you a clue when to start to load palm oil to your warehouse. Good luck!

1. Palm oil is not substitute for crude oil. Please do a simple look up for the uses of palm oil. Lots of products you consume today are made using palm oil. If you don' t mind using brent crude for your chicken rice then sure....
2. Efforts have been made to become more sustainable - less deforestation etc.
B30 mandate for biodiesel may face some obstacles in the short term due to low crude prices but it will still be pushed through for environmental reasons.

1. Palm oil is supposed to act as an alternative to expensive crude oil. With the proliferation of renewable energy sources, the price of crude oil has fallen over the years. As a secondary oil source, the price of palm oil wouldn&rsquo t be high and would not be able to fetch a good profit.
2. Harvesting of palm oil is environmental unfriendly. There are penalties with deforestation activities.

GoldenAgri has fallen dramatically over the last few years and is no longer good enough to be part of STI component.
I would give this counter a miss, based on the fundamentals for long term.

Actually. When u look at stocks the up or down doesn?t really move just purely on cd. Who is buying and who is selling u see charts volumes all can tell.
Also, the sell down has been down past 7-10 days.
Is it going to recover ? See if there is a bottom for now.
Don?t get discourage just because u made a wrong call learn from it and be better.

BB pushed all the way from 0.138 to 0.165 a few weeks ago and distributes discreetly for many days already. Hence even when it dropped down he is still making money. And because of the volumn, the profits were big. Many retailers averaged down in the process but if they have bought on contra, BB will make them sell low - because it is a zero sum game. BB sold them high, he will push the price down to buy back from them.
