Small retail investors are easily fooled by these mode of operation . Healthway and Q& M are typical of such example. Cordlife is now doing the same and I suggest you go to check their past listing history in Australia |

Investors better be cautious when dealing with some medical counters.
Cordlife is not so profitable.
Likewise counters like Asia Medic and Healthway are not doing that well.

Clinical trial and research for any medical or tissue product usually take about 5 years, going thru phase 1 to 3 and cost lot of money to the company. Hence is a drain on the company confer and is negative. this round the small investors will get hit and the BBs already unloaded their holding and pocketed the money. This cordlife company had previously failed badly in their venture in Australia but fortune turn after listing in Spore. Many small investors do not know its product and just buy the stk without doing research 1st. Only buy what u know and buy those managed by trusted people.

This clarification statement comes only 15 days after their 1st announcement on 9th May, the BBs quickly push up the price of this stk during the 2 weeks window period. Watch out on Monday. I smell conspiracy.

Clarification issued regarding Singapore service.
In a release, Cordlife Group Limited (Cordlife) clarified that the technology associated with the processing and banking of umbilical cord tissue in Singapore is currently in the research / clinical trial stage of development.
" As such, any umbilical cord tissue stored by Cordlife in Singapore in connection with the new umbilical cord tissue banking service by Cordlife will only be used in the context of a research / clinical trial. The storage and banking of umbilical cord tissue services provided in Singapore is currently not licensed by the Ministry of Health, Singapore (MOH). The Group is presently licensed by MOH to provide cord blood banking services for autologous use," said Cordlife.
This additional information pertains to the May 9 announcement that Cordlife and Thomson Medical have launched the first umbilical cord tissue banking service in Singapore.

taken during childbirth, from umbilical cord. then sent to be cryogenic frozen. i think can keep very long. forgot the data on the brochure already.
once got future medical breakthoughs, they can defreeze.
some diseases can already be cured by cord blood. they are still researching new ones.
Sry. I dun understand. Cordblood during birth? Blood fr the umbilical cord only? Can keep for how many years, u know? Juz for my knowledge.

I dont know about anyone here. I just wanna share how I feel cos I'm going to be a parent soon. I want the best for my kid in future. Even if I have to spend 5k, I also willing to pay for cord blood banking. And seriously, I'm already looking for cord blood banks already. Its a small investment for my kids' future. We all can spend tens or even hundreds of thousands. We can afford to lose alot of money in stock market. Why can't we set aside some of these losses for the future generation ? That's what I'm doing.
Just sharing. Not promoting people to buy cordlife. I still feel cordlife is too expensive now. Waiting for a lower price perhaps 80c to enter. Heehee.. |

I read that it can solve 70% of disease.
