Revenue is vanity, profit is sanity, cash is king. So I rather go for sanity & royal status. Best is if got good news on KOM Sembmarine thingy.

Yes, KC will announce its 3rd Qtr 2022 update on 27 Oct.  Last yr KC reported $5.5B revenue.  This yr, I expect KC to increase its revenue for the 1st 9 mths above $5.5B.  This will push KC' s price up end of this mont

That' s why DBS and Kep Corp are solid blue chips.  They consistently pay good dividends even in bad times when other lesser blue chips become penny stock

yes.  Yes

Options for minority SHs:

1. Vote " Yes" at the EGM
2. Vote  " No" at the EGM
3. Do nothing
4. Sell KC to buy SCM
5. Sell SCM to buy KC

Looks like more and more minority  SHs are choosing to do (5) and (1)

Agree.  Most institutions and big SHs can see the fairness in the terms and conditions and will vote a resounding " Yes" at the EGM.

Rough calculation: 65% of KC shareholders hold SCM shares, that' s about 45K shareholders, which makes up 72% of SCM shareholders. And more likely than not these shareholders are favourable of the merger... It' s in the bag.

I agree with you, aragosta.  KC is a class above SCM in terms of pegging order.  Those institutions who have SCM are bound to have more KC.  Even among retailers who are investors, most have more KC than SCM.  At the coming EGMs, the institutions will definitely vote " Yes" to merger.  And the institutions are the main shareholders

Most institutional SHs are the biggest SHs.  They have professional advisers.  These advisers will know that the only way out for SCM is to merge with KOM and, despite some minority SHs noises, the proposed terms and conditions of merger  are fair and equitable.  I have no doubt these institutional SHs will vote for the  merger.  Those SHs with < 10m SCM shares are insignificant
