shippin traffic at gulf ceasfire like no ceasefire. during no ceasefire, ave 7 friendly ships pass hormuz, now after ceasefire also 7 friendly ships pass.
pre-war time, 130 ships pass per day. think agreement subject to different interpretation by trump and iran who insist lebanon included, but currently kena attacked.

but whatever, geo thermal coal seem to be in great demand as m42 future chart show. indonesia' s thermal coal no need to go so far to sell, asia alone got big customers like china, india, japan, philipines, malaysia, etc. think future for geo very hosay liao, even if current m42 price sustain, and money making projects completed. most analyst very upbeat, some say tp, 75c, some say 80c. just opnn, dyodd.

Agreed. Play contra then better don't play. They are depressing the prices. Just like yesterday, it was expected to close at 54 but last few seconds someone tried to close their positions and sold off at 53.5 for 100+ K shares.

Positives for Geo:
1. Coal price likely elevated for 1-2 years as some LNG facilities are damaged during the war. We also cannot expect the same flow of LNG as before the war. Asia countries will continue to switch to coal as it is cheaper. 
2. Indonesia government has announced increasing production quota to captive the increased demand for coal and the increased tax revenues due to elevated coal price. Increased production will benefit MBJ infrastruture. 
3. Additional revenue from MBJ to start flowing in from July 2026. 
4. Additional revenue from the acqired shipping business. 
5. Newly acquired coking coal mine in Kalimantan. They should announce plans soon how they develop this mine to start extracting coal. 

 

There are more sources of revenue for Geo now...... 
Especially the toll road which should be completed very soon......
Don' t worry with the Iran' s situation...... it has small impact to Geo now....

 

Many oil fields and related infrastructures are likely to be out of service for a while even after the war. 
GEO recent coal selling prices are way above last year and will stay high as many countries are going back to cheap reliable coal.
Bottom line .. GEO 2026 and 2027 will break record imo. Share price will follow naturally.
Current 53.5c is good price?
Considering that 52.5c is the latest floor. Dyodd.
