Trading halt only three days by tomorrow need to open back....
In other words the net return on total assets (0.23/26) is less than 1 percent. That is very poor.
Can we reduce the admin expenses, as pasttime says? Definitely.
Banks use a cost to income ratio to measure business efficiency. Maybe we can also have a cost to income ratio for property stocks.
Time for cost cutting measures to be listed and quantified by this company... ...

on a base of $26b only have revenue of $3.27b ie every $ only produce 12 cents revenue
gross $1.46b with admin cost $0.57b. admin cost is quite a constant number regardless of the top revenue.
share holder benefits only $0.23b can mangement do something on the admin cost to give
more to share holders.
if management can push up top line the profit will be greatly increased as admin cost is constant.
it will be difficult to cut admin cost unless go very ruthless like asking what did you do in the last 1 week.
how many fly here fly there was there in the year. can it be replace with zoom type of collaborations.
AI can help to raise the competence level. robots can cut direct labour to an extent. especially in places where labour is shortage and very expensive. china now has robots that can do a lot of helper work.
is it time to consider professional ceo. best does not always come from 1 family. outside can find the best . just need to test the loyalty etc. |
