First of all... For those who are still questioning about the new saliva test developed by collaboration effort between Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore General Hospital (SGH), National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) and the National University of Singapore (NUS), please do some research or at least read the news properly before investing any single cents on this counter.
Yes, there are lots of saliva test kits available in everywhere including Malaysia ( RM4.90 in some of the shops) but for there are few limitations of the current saliva test kit, i.e. you need to do fasting for some time before the test (overnight or few hours before the test) and the test accuracy is not as high as PCR.
However, with the new saliva test and they called it (PASPORT) is easy to self-administer, deliver results in minutes, and has sensitivity close to the gold standard PCR test and the test can be done even after food. Those are the differences.
For new investor, please do your homework because nobody will take care of your money except yourself. Again, not a buy call for this counter but just highlight the importance of self research.
