Anyway, i view REITs and other income generating vehicles like bonds as chickens that lay eggs. Sometimes the chicken is fatter, sometimes the chicken is slimmer. But the eggs are usually quite similar in sizes and so long there are regular eggs, I' m not too worried whether the chicken is fat or thin. :)

Each Reit is unique. There is no direct comparison. Just because oue or ascott had some losses does not mean that will spread over to CMT. One needs to look at each Reit as separate entities.
