Dude info is readily available. They will purchase 58,735,366 shares.............over a period of time. Might prop price up...........Finger' s crossed. They will have to increase div(mandatory) Unfortunately not in Dec unless they make an extraordinary announcement.

SQ bought back shares again today......
Most people take profits off table before ex div. I do.As soon as i have more than div amt i' m out. Hee! Hee! Dont want cash stuck like it is now. howwver tat said i bought three lots after it fell. Too early. Rookie mistake. Anyhooo cant win all the time

do u mean a day shy of the ex-div date, it may cause a counter to falter? or is it becos of -ve comments by the top honcho of our nation' s airline?

Went ex Dividend, negative forward looking statement by Goh Choon Phong, Ebola, Dow was down so many days consecutively. Too many minuses' dude.

Me too. My entry point again will be after i hear a little more about Ebola. That' s happening/trending now. My guess is Margaret Chan will issue some sort of alert if more cases are reported. Watch for news. Will SIA will follow Emirates and stop flying to Africa............... don' t know. They are waiting for WHO to issue an advisory. If there is any negative news about air travel it will affect SQ price. Am waiting and watching. Good luck to you.
