Merger at a premium to "last traded" price ?
Bro, that's the question puzzling me too.
Bro,.. why would any party wants to block the price here from rising above 84 US cts ? What is there to gain,... logically ?

Yes, many possibilities. The only good is , usd is up against sgd.
I don't see any fault with the operation of the reit. It is performing according to their ipo forecast. I also not holding alot, so i just dump them one side

If we continue to hold it, we may earn from the dividend collected if the price does not fall as time goes by,... The problem starts when the price keeps falling,....

If you obaerved the trading, you see that whenever it went up to 84. There will be somebody rushing in to sell it down. Just like cromwell previously.
This one is like what the chinese say, 鸡 肋 to me. Holding only a few lots, sell it dont earn , hold it also not earning.

Noticed that each listing reit, w foreign properties, offered better yield from the previous to entice subscribers, as they learn more about sgp unitholders appetite. Can expect better offer from coming ipo.
I forgot to say another thing : judging by the way Keppel-KBS is behaving,... the unit price has been droppingsince listing,... I wonder how the second REIT IPO by KBS' take-up rate is going to be,.... Who would want to buy ??????

Now,... Fed Chief Mr Powell is a little bit dovish,... he will increase again another 25 bps in September,... THEN,.. he may or may not increase one more time this year. He said : it is better to be late in increasing THAN to be too fast in increasing,...something along that line,....
I see,.... but why can' t KBS includes the new properties into their current JV with Keppel ? And I rad through that KBS is again looking for a new co-sponsor for this listing in The SGX. Why can' t just go with Keppel ???

I saw yr earlier post regarding kbs new reit and relates it to recent business times news. I think this could be the new reit to be listed in the 4Q18.
Agreed on your points below,... the way I look at it is,.. if the volume is small, it' s just some party out there trying to move the counter in the direction that the party wanted it to move to. So, no real issue yet even if the direction is down,... there is really no change in fundamentals anywhere,... yet,...

Not really an issue, just that you can't really tell what is the main factor moving the price. Can be any small fund buysell or some bigger player rebalance.
Whatever transactions that come in will affect the price,... small or big transactions, bro,... any problem with a small volume being able to swing a counter easily ?

Keppel-KBSR shot up to 0.84 today, and the price is holding firm at this level,.... Could be because the trade nego' s are really running well between The US and China on the trade tariffs. Or something else, bros ??
