bank analyst thinks comfort is great to enter now. lol. just because idling fleet isnt increasing anymore. but they completely omitted details like comfort slashing the rental to abyssal rates. the situation is a long term 1. analyst always tries to induce people to buy after they have entered. wait for bottom to form before entering!

i dont really think this is a short term view as what u mentioned.. As i mentioned in earlier post, they are fighting the same kind of issue everywhere they have taxi fleets..When taxi becomes hard to get on the road, ppl turned to mobile solutions to get a cab. Do you still see ppl trying to flag down taxi these days? 

This thing will spiral, and will cause the taxi to go into a vicious cycle, where taxi is hard, we go mobile, and slowly, ppl will give up trying to get a cab. That' s what grab/uber is hoping for. Of cos, taxi will always be in existence, just at what scale.. maybe at 10% of today? who knows.. When that day comes, grab/uber will stop giving promo codes, but consumer will pretty much have no other options already.
