COSCO sees Greece' s Piraeus among world' s top 30 ports by 2018
Under the privatization deal with Greece, COSCO must conclude investments of about 300 million euros in five years before buying an additional 16 percent stake in the port.
Fu said the additional investment would be used mainly to upgrade ship repair, logistics and cruise operations, adding that a detailed business plan would be ready in November.

31 Aug (Closed @ $0.26)- Before market open, I predict that Cosco Corporation will rise to within $0.30 to $0.34+ in less than 6 months, as it is the current strongest undervalued shipyard stock in SGX (with its parent company 4th Biggest Shipping Company that had acquired New Piraeus Port). It possesses higher potential to rise as compared to Yangzhijiang.
As at June 30, its order book stood at about US$7.6 billion (S$10.3 billion) with progressive deliveries up to 2018.
Cosco Corporation vs Yangzhijiang Comparison (Bonus Analysis- Within 2 Years):
Cosco Coporation will continue to rise till half of Yangzhijiang Stock Value, while Yangzhijiang continues to fall over the long term.

Shanghai: Cosco Zhoushan shipyard has delivered China’s first
self-developed semi-submersible rig Island Innovator on Wednesday.
Built for Norwegian owner Odfjell Drilling, the Island Innovator
semi-submersible rig will be operated in the harsh environment of the
North Sea, which requires a high level of maturity in understanding
identified design and operation risks.
“Island Innovator is an important breakthrough in both design and
construction for China’s deep water drilling platform, and is a
milestone in China’s development of high-end offshore products,” said an
offshore from Cosco Zhoushan shipyard. [27/09/12]
Cosco building offshore yard in Dongguan
Guangzhou: Cosco Guangdong Shipyard is embarking on
building a yard specifically for offshore construction, the first
dedicated offshore site in the southern Chinese province. Dongguan, near
Shenzhen, has been selected for the new facility. Cosco has big plans
for offshore, wanting it to account for up to half of its shipyard
