Oil remains at the present rate, $20 will be the minimum. Furthermore, AirAsia is a

surprised present from God. Sinking of the S$, Indian JV taking off this month, negatives

in relation to Tiger is disappearing. Scoot, Silkair, Tiger and SIA will benefit from cost

cutting and forward hedging of flying fuel. If you don' t enter now, it will be your big loss. Good luck

SIA is in positive territory. Sing dollar down, means more Sing dollar for foreign profit.

Indian JV will be taking off this month

Tiger is recovering

Scoot is improving

60% of the present hedged oil  will be lower > March. In the meantime, the 40% windfall should be

reflected in this quarter, another word, good news in February

SIA is sitting on a large pile of cash and looking at past dividend trends, this quarter might get special dividends. I am very positive about SIA, at least, for the coming 3-6 months.

Agree. Earnings out early Feb i believe the 6th. The low oil prices and all hedging will only show up later. Smart money is riding this up before they dump.

You must have sell your holding right?

Caution is the word. Passenger numbers not good, Cargo despite predictions would benefit from lower prices...... also not good. Effect of lower oil will only be seen in second half of 2015. Be careful ot there. BB' s are riding this baby up only to dump it before next earning in end Jan/ early Feb. Only the small players will get hurt.

Just my 2 cents worth.

recent annoucement by SIA showed that their PLF, as well as total passenger load fell Q on Q and Y on Y.

Surely, SIA would benefit from lower oil prices - but not so if their PLF, and total passenger numbers do not increase as well.

flying empty planes, albeit at lower fuel costs does not lead to higher profits.

pardon me, but their PE is ridiculous.....

the ST index dropped nearly 80 points and yet, SQ went up by a penny. Guys, don' t miss

the boat. SIA will bring a huge windfall by end February/2015.

If the STI were to rise by 80 points, what will happen to SQ?

What i got from it was that they said fall was overdone. Maybe just maybe we might see an EOGM.

Igot this from a different board/forum.........

" what he is saying is that they are open to talks...........which means they will not cut unless Americans come to the table....."
