Sadly, this blue chip has become a punting counter. Because the last price of Rights was 0.62, for people who were not previously vested in SIA but bought the Rights to subscribe to the new shares, their cost will be 3.62. So I presume that no one will buy above that price to benefit thesepeople. This was why yesterday''s rise ended with a dump. My opinion is it will drop below this price until there is a good news.

 

Price of the Rights that you paid or where it closed are water under the bridge and irrelevant.Sunk cost.
Importantly ,is the conversion price of $3.00 , which you need to exercise before May 28.
Before May 28, if the SIA price is below $3.00 ,you can straight buy the market and throw away your rights.(that is,if you are still bullish)
If the market is higher than $3,you will convert pay up the $3 to subscribe,before/on May 28.
You also need to hope that after June 8, the price will be higher than $3.

Arising from this,before May 28,$3.00 will be supported by Investor55% and Rights holders.

Well, no one point a gun at their head to subscribe for the rights. When u long, u are betting SIA shares to go up. When u short, u expect SIA to go down. Both are betting. Both are greedy. Who cares about anyone feelings? Wrong bet? Too bad. Cut loss or suffer more loss

People who bought additional rights from the market all suck thumb. Even if SIA drops to 0.001 they also can't do anything. But they can give all free of charge to Ah Kong.

Not cursing... If by cursing, I am able to bring down the market then u can label me as god of shares.I am a normal investor, just following the market reality of SIA and I am just stating the price I am looking at. Anyone can go against my $3 and if u think SIA shares is promising then go ahead n purchase more. I will instead of " cursing" but " blessing" u. My blessing might bring SIA back to past glory :D   

Joke aside... just face the reality of the market... If not because of $$$, the shares will be worse than this.
