Vistra acquires Stephen McLaren Consultants Pte Ltd in Singapore
Vistra has announced the acquisition of Stephen McLaren Consultants Pte Limited ("SMC"). This is part of Vistra's overall growth strategy in Asia to broaden its specialist capabilities to meet clients' demand.
SMC was founded by Stephen Leong, BBM, in 1985 to provide corporate secretarial, accounting and taxation services in respect of predominantly Singapore companies. The acquisition of SMC increases Vistra's scale and capacity in Singapore, as well as its overall capability to support existing and new clients with more comprehensive services.
SMC will be rebranded Vistra and be integrated with the rest of Vistra's operations in Singapore.

Kena lawyer letter liao?
If the Lim family sold 50 M shares , about 4 % for 1.6 CT&rsquo s then it is very obvious the true nav is certainly not what E& Y audited . Tan family only paid high price for their block so they can fight dissenters/minorities who are disgusted with gross ongoing mismanagement of asiatic .
You have a CEO who is clueless on power plants, family run business   with delinquent board , absolutely poor to no corporate governance . Accounts that look suspicious even to a Layman and likely to be overstated. Otherwise a smart investor like Lim family will not reduce their strategic stake
just before agm where a fight is expected . The 1.6 c is likely grossly overvalued , payment by Tan family to cling on to management rights .   We poor minorities will be done for if you go by the track record of how the CEO has managed to destroy share value consistently over the last 8 years .
minority shareholders can seek recourse too and should push on for the company to disclose fully its financial condition . If the mgt can still be paid such high salaries   when the company is barely surviving , are there
more cash leakages that should be brought to the attention of authorities ?

Vote out the director.
Or
Sell and go.

Many people have to become directors of the company and then make their own compensation. Some companies don' t have enough income to pay for this group of directors. The company loses money every year, but the directors' annual salary is terrible.

There are rules and regulations governing transactions by major shareholders, when they need to make general offer, which rule they break in this case???
