Tahan Lama.  After the shocking profit guidance, still unscathed.  SCI on the other hand got slaughtered.  Mkt looks like totally in chng kay hands.

if smal country can make it can make Keppel Corp successful and if such a big country like China with so many support ans resources cannot make it , then very diu lian

SINGAPORE (Oct 25): Cosco Corp (Singapore) says customer Prosafe Rigs and subsidiary Cosco (Qidong) Offshore have agreed to extend the delivery date of accommodation vessel Safe Eurus to end Dec 2019 from its original delivery date in 2016.

Under the extension deal, Prosafe has the right to take delivery of the vessel earlier than Dec 2019 if market conditions improve or if the shipowner manages to procure rental for the vessel, says Cosco.

In a separate filing, Cosco says the shipowner and customer of floating accommodation unit N381 has breached the contract with Cosco (Nantong) Shipyard after negotiations for a further three-year extension fell through.

Meanwhile, the shipowner of another floating accommodation unit N675 has exercised its right to termination under the contract with Cosco (QIdong).

Shares of Cosco last traded at 26 cents.

Yes, I agreed with GOT on this. Cosco is too huge to go down. Unlike Hanjin, though different entities, Cosco has strong backing. Hanjin on the other hand, the government also run as fast as leopard annoucing no bailout. Last and most importantly, Chinese ppl want face.
