If SQ offering Tiger shareholders 11.10 a piece for Sq shares. What could it mean??
That should simply mean that the price of SQ should rise ? Why will anyone offer a price which is higher than market price. Should this mean that SQ will rise on Monday and next week :)

Will price be higher by the time the offer closes? It actually fell after halt was lifted but recovered. Bought a little. Order only partially filled.
Will Sq resume share buybacks?
Will numbers be improving due to lower fuel prices,
Will, or are, sales of tickets already showing a marked improvement?
Think people.......
Good half yearly result. net profit up 179mil to 305mil.. Expected to soar with lower fuel price as forecasted.

Possibility of an increase in dividend.

PE= 29.8 Div yield 2.04
DBS
PE=9.86 Div yield 3.6%
Hedge losses is a fact. On the bright side, this losses will be reduced gradually. Down Down Down! Passenger load factor are creeping up. Up Up Up! Earning for the next few quarters will improves from lower fuel costs and lower hedging losses if passenger load factor can be maintained.

I think SIA still losing $ on their hedge oil pricing failure which saw them secure at $100 i think. so i dont see it as an advantage to them now..
