fake news la, only 294mil shares voted against. and ESR and its fren Tong already 260-270mil while vote for is 396mil shares.

shows how weak ESR position is now and they probably have to buy alot of share to close the gap if they want.

Dun forget there is around 45% against the internalisation during the EGM. So minus away ESR 20% it means there is around 25% of minority shareholders who are against the internalisation.
So eventually ESR will have to merge ESR-LOGOS with Sabana to dilute the shareholdings of Quarz and regain the upper hand. The 25% minority shareholders will support the merger , they are the die hard ESR supporters.
So best strategy is to make ESR-LOGOS share price rise while tanking Sabana reit share price to " demoralise" Sabana shareholders and then encourage the Sabana shareholders to support merger with ESR-LOGOS.

I think so. I dun think ESR will let go so easily.. If sabana reit internalisation is successful, it means all their reits like ESR_logos and Suntec reit etc.. under their management will be in danger liao becos all other shareholders after seeing Sabana reit successfully implemented internalisation and DPU improves, will then demand internalisation too and kick ESR out. I think they cannot allow that to happen, lose of face and more important will be very damaging to ESR
They may offer low rental rate for the current Sabana tenant to jump ship to ESR-LOGOS once their lease is up. And they may set up road block to make sure Sabana reit share price sinks.. They have to do something, they CANNOT allow sabana reit to succeed. Their shareholdings in Sabana reit may have to be sacrificed if needed in order to make sure Sabana fails, if not ESR will be the one to collapse if other shareholders of reits managed by ESR like ESR-LOGOS and suntec and ARA-hospitality etc... demand internalisation and kick ESR out and then starts a chain reaction if they see Sabana is successful. if they think abit deeper,
ESR probably will increase shares or consider ta take out to rescue their manager.
Quarz filed 14% at 43 cents which likely means they will be happy to buy at this level
if one of the big shareholders takes their shares out of the lending pool, then bank will immediately ask shortist to close position and buy buy the shares at any price

try to understand luckyguy la, he very envious of us. His ESR at 32.5 cents ish..drop from 45 cents.- 30%..maybe ESR might do 1 more placement at discount next year then maybe break new ground at 31 cents...

For a new investor deciding whether to invest Sabana reit. He/she happens to read two big agency/bank saying the internalisation is bad VS users here saying is good. Who will the new investor trust more? The agencies/bank research team or users here?
