Our welfare to the workers are simply first class, putting shame to our neighbours.

Minister of Transport, Khaw Boon Wan, revealed in a Facebook post on Apr. 15 that one of the caterers that takes charge of the foreign workers' meals is SATS, the in-flight catering service provider at Singapore Changi Airport.

All the workers can enjoy airline food in the dorm now.
Our Singapore govt did a fantastic job for taking care of the well being of 200K foreign workers. |

SATS serve other airlines also. Not just SIA.
All planes can fly, but will there be passengers? Fare too high, no attraction to entice risk takers. Too low, can' t cover the costs. Besides, most of the countries need the passengers to quarantine for 14 days, fly to anyplace for 14 days and fly back, kena another 14 days here. For what???

SATS prices S$100m of 2.6% notes due 2025
SATS on Friday said that it has priced S$100 million of 2.6 per cent notes due 2025 under its S$500 million multicurrency medium-term note programme.
The net proceeds from the issue will be used for general corporate purposes, including general working capital, capital expenditure and capital management, as well as for investing in value-creating opportunities, including making long-term strategic investments and acquisitions.
The chief ground-handling and in-flight catering service provider at Singapore Changi Airport added that the proceeds will also be used to refinance the borrowings of the group.
DBS Bank and United Overseas Bank were the joint lead managers and joint bookrunners.

Thanks for pointing out - looks like there is some hope of travel restrictions lifting by June. I am hoping as I have flight plans then - Super holiday deprived. LOL.
