The company total assets valued increased to S$69M.
Last year AGM reported that they dont have the intention to sell.
This year AGM mentioned they have the intention to sell. Seem like they are ready to sell and found someone to sell to. Left with internal fittings only.
Commondity business should also be around the corner base on the reaction from the price traded down due to whole market sediment but steady given a chance for others to buy at cheaper price. 

Just my analysis.

Sad. Means eventually sliding back to 0.002. Regret didnt sell at 2c+ few months ago. Now live longer with the pain liao.

 

Another 2-3 years is possible.
Both highly anticipated catalysts are gone for now
and won' t happen miraculously within just one year.

Singapore can vaccinate all 5+ million population within this year,
yet LHL said we need 2 years before travel can normalise.

Vietnam has 98 million population to vaccinate.
Moreover, Vietnam has been overly strict on the control of Covid.
It means that Vietnam won' t open their border to foreign tourists as early as Singapore,
bad news for businesses especially hospitality.
How long will it take for Vietnam to open their border to tourists then? 2-3 years? Won' t happen within one year' s time.

From the latest Full Year Report:
- Adventus has stopped the construction and procurement of their hotel fitting
because Vietnam imposed a suspension of entry of all foreigners from 22 March 2020 until further notice.
In such a situation, no one will purchase Adventus' s hotels anytime soon.
- Loan repayment of Hoi An Resort will start in June 2021.
No business yet has to repay loans, Adventus' s next few financial reports will be worse.
- Current NAV is only $0.0073 and will drop lower in next few reports. Current price is double NAV.
- No more mention of commodity business under " Other Business" , an obvious difference compared to last Half Year Report.
Adventus needs to sell both assets before they proceed with commodity business,
with both assets delayed for another couple of years, they have to scrap commodity business now.
It' s a pity that Covid has caused such a huge impact on Adventus, it would have become one of the stars of 2020 if not for Covid.

Improvement in the financial statement, but still an annual loss. However I must say, I expected a bigger and more loss actually during the whole of 2020 due to Covid. They got chance to turn it into profit in the next 6-12months.

 

May I know how is wilmar related to adventus

wonder what the chairman is doing? when to restart the adventus resource pte ltd operation.

Yup, Vietnam has dealt with the Covid19 spike in January. Lowered daily count since Jan' s spike. Will need time for the market to rebuild confidence. Outlook is very good.

 

Coming soon.... be patient.... March/April.... either lao sai or shoot up.....
