It will drop to $1 to $2 per share.
The June 8, more shares are entering trading market, if there is a gain for
Rights buyer. Most likely they will dump it. |

Moreover, when you have bought the rights at $0.56 a share, you are committed $560 for 1000 shares. Nobody is going to throw away that amount of money unless they are goon.

Not many are deep pockets to continue buy as to support the share price.
Especially at this current uncertainty where many companies are facing financial worries.

Rights were transacted between 1.1 to 0.405, with the majority transacted between 0.6 to 0.7. So theoretically, the SIA price should be between 3.6 to 3.7. For the time being. It can go up to 4.1 at the maximum.
It won' t fall much as that would mean most rights holders will simply buy SIA shares instead. If it falls, rights holders will come in and buy to support the share price. So i think the support will be strong |

| I think SIA cannot rise because everybody now assumes that from 8 Jun it is going to be cheaper than now. The current holders include : (1) original holders who bought very high (2) people who bought high after Rights were announced (3) people who bought higher in the pump and dump actions by BB after the Rights' trading stopped. - They will want to sell before 8 Jun, the date from which everybody thinks supplies will overwhelmed demands causing price to drop. But no one wants to buy high now. |

reading all your comments, it is better to avoid this distress sia,
unless price is below 3 and buy for short term to earn coffee money.

correct .  doubt temasek will want to buy more.
This rights is not an investment !!!!  it is a bailout of a bankrupt company.  what Temasek did was to create a complex rights issue to hoodwinked or induce the others to join in the bailout .  Temasek has to bailout SIA as it is a national pride ,  investors dont.  SIA will not be investing the moneys from the right issue to maybe give you guys some decent returns in the future. ln fact  the right moneys are already to be spent to pay back bonds and debts and current expenses.  Expenses so huge and so overdue that DBS has to provide an emergency bridging loan now or SIA will flopped today.
Those wanting to buy.....i would suggest buy as low as possible  when all the shares are out after 8 june

Many SIA original holders apply excess rights share  at $3.00 ,if June 8 price higher (By Temasek support) think many holders will sell to recover some losses.....prices might not fall alot till Temasek stop supporting it.

Temasek support at what price?

If you are unsure what to do, keep it under the pillow for the next 2 to 5 years. Avoid market talks.
Air travellers will still be around. SIA will still be around.
If SIA were to be pitted against other global airlines, SIA will likely have the edge.

No worries you are not alone
there are tonnes of people who owned SIA at the $9 range after averging out with rights .. best they could do is around $5 to $5.50
i' m sorry for my inexperience hence seeking some advice here.
Listing the purchased price is not to boast but rather i thought it would be helpful if any one wants to use the info and share some advice.
Cheers
