Starhub (Q316) &ndash EPS 5ct vs 6.9ct (Q315). So its DPS= EPS for Q3.

  (9M16) 16.6ct vs 16.9ct (9M15) ---- so EPS only drop by 0.3c for  3 Qs.

Chance is high that it may be able to pay 5c for Q4.

 

Staff cost can be cut down just like what Singtel did. Singtel closed the outlet at Westmall, which was  always crowded. Save staff and rental cost.

Today crashed further to $3.17... dividend yield now 6.31 % ! waa.....tempted to cash in more..

M1 dropped for 8 working days before stabilising. Would Starhub follow this trend until some big shareholder comes out to stabilise it?

its interesting if the last reported dont report a drop in profit..

 

the 2 mainly local based telco have reported their results. both have reported big drop in profits.

when the 4th telco comes in it is expected even worse future result.

So the 4th telco would also be expected to suffer along.

i dun c why starhub cant maintain tt dividend rate of 0.20cents.

their dividend record is pretty stable and their CEO has alreadx mention before that the company will maintain tt divident rate.

big drop today due to the drop in 3Q earning of 28%.

 

but pretty confident in tt company.

was waiting to enter n got some today to diversify my portfolio
