Raised Target Price to SGD 3.41.
The share price has been steady with a compound monthly growth rate of 25% for the past 7 months. Not sure it will be sustainable🤔

When you have calculated the PE, be it historical or forward, then ask ourselves, is this company gonna grow at the annual rate as indicated by the number obtained? Then, you can decide for yourself whether it is expensive or not.
pe too high

Definitely has potential to grow further. But at above 3.00 apiece, consider this an expensive stock.
Thx for sharing. I was not able to see previously due to a paid article.

iFast eyes expansion in Malaysia, China as Q3 profit more than doubles
Group would be launching new products and services in the two countries by early 2021: CEO

FINANCIAL services provider iFast Corporation will take advantage of booming demand for its services to expand into China and Malaysia.

The company, which runs an online platform for buying stocks and funds, on Friday reported net profit of S$6.2 million for the third quarter ended September - from S$2.5 million in the year-ago period.

Revenue climbed to S$45.0 million from S$33.8 million in the year-ago period.

On a call to discuss the company' s Q3 earnings on Friday, iFast CEO Lim Chung Chun said the group would be launching new products and services in the two countries by early 2021.

Malaysia and China accounted for 6.3 per cent and 1.1 per cent, respectively, of the company' s net revenue in the first nine months of the year.

Net revenue in those markets had increased 37.9 per cent and 183.6 per cent, respectively, from the corresponding period last year.

Over the same period, Singapore still accounts for the bulk of iFast' s revenue at 40.1 per cent, while Hong Kong accounts for the remaining 14.1 per cent.

In August, iFast' s Malaysian arm got the in-principle nod from the Securities Commission Malaysia to carry out the regulated activity of dealing in securities.

It will be able to launch stock dealing services as a Participating Organisation of Bursa Malaysia Securities, and the group expects this to happen by early 2021.

Over in China, the group' s Chinese unit received approval from the Asset Management Association of China in September for its registration as a Private Fund Manager in September and is looking to launch in early 2021. The company said this new capability in the China market will enable it to broaden its range of services as an investment platform.

" China had a tough year in 2019 but encouragingly this year we have found that the momentum has picked up," said Mr Lim.

" We are encouraged by the clearer signs that our business model and the services are gaining traction and momentum."

In Q3, iFast' s B2C segment reported year-on-year revenue growth of 69.5 per cent to S$9.2 million - from S$5.4 million last year.

Revenue from the B2B arm increased 26.3 per cent to S$35.8 million, from S$28.3 million.

Commissions and fees paid or payable to third party financial advisers and securities brokerages increased 30.8 per cent to S$22.1 million, from S$16.9 million.

Net inflow of client assets was S$1.07 billion in the quarter, bringing assets under administration to a record S$12.59 billion as at end-September.

The group declared an interim cash dividend of 0.8 cent per ordinary share for Q3, up marginally from 0.75 cent last year. The dividend will be paid on Nov 13, after books closure on Nov 4.

Mr Lim said iFast chose to pay only a slightly higher dividend as the company tried to strike a balance between rewarding shareholders and retaining sufficient capital in the event it secures a digital bank licence.

While the company previously had a " relatively high" dividend payout ratio of 60 per cent, the banking business' capital intensive nature warranted a change.

" At this point in time, we prefer to increase the dividend but not to a level that doesn' t allow us to build up or retain cash as much," he added.

As brokerage and transaction fees fall due to intense competition, Mr Lim noted that iFast will also look into diversifying its sources of income.

Rather than rely largely on interest income, as some of its brokerage and wealth management peers do, Mr Lim said iFast would consider other options such as the provision of IT services to B2B partners.

He added: " While interest income should continue to grow as a source of income, other segments of income will also be important. (iFast' s) different sources of income will be added up over time, and that will make us competitive as a platform."
Anyway, a Fintech company that is worth of investing for mid-long term! Vested.
