THAI billionaire Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi is getting support in the bond market for his plan to reorganise Fraser and Neave Ltd (F& N), a maker of beverages, books and luxury condos.
The 130-year-old Singapore conglomerate, which Mr Charoen bought this year, sweetened terms after debt holders refused a bid last month to change the conditions on notes including its 2016 Singapore-dollar bonds so it could spin off its property unit. The yield on those securities has dropped to a two-month low at 2.27 per cent, DBS Group Holdings Ltd prices show. Corporate yields in the currency average 3.15 per cent, according to HSBC Holdings Ltd.
Mr Charoen - who has US$8.2 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index - is focusing F& N on its food-and-beverage business, as the maker of the 100Plus sports drink aims to strengthen its share of the consumer market in South-east Asia. It will likely gain approval next week for the spinoff of real estate unit Frasers Centrepoint Ltd after more than doubling amendment fees for bond investors who accept the new terms, three people familiar with the matter said, asking not to be identified because the matter is private.

I continue to maintain my forecast of
the value of 1 F& N + 2 FCL = $6/ Higher
Therefore F& N price remains a fairly attractive price.

FYI: $6 is only a minimum line.
I already have the value of 1 F& N + 2 FCL in mind. I will not speak off, as it up to different people holding 1 F& N & 2 FCL to decide, at what time is best and most appropriate to sell. It can stretch way further than $6, depends on how you strategize these 3 stocks @ what time.
Kindly note all my information is used as reference, & not to be used in anybody buy or sell.

F& N overall valuation continues to lie in the hands of largest shareholder.
There is hesitation as well as a need to implement release of 2 FCL- Duration of implementation will affect overall valuation.
There is a possible trend of slowly recovering F& N price.
Bondholders are not of concern. If any bondholder reject, can just pay them back $$ plus interests.
Largest Shareholder have the final say to proceed. It depends on his decision, but the timing of release 2 FCL will affect the total valuation.
It is best the largest shareholder announce the implementation 2 FCL swiftly by next week (latest by 19 Dec).

F&N destiny depends on biggest shareholder decision. Unlocking of 2 FCL should be expedited to serve shareholders well.

As forecasted 1 month ago, this prediction regarding bondholder issue had come true.
In 29 Nov meeting with bondholders, the fact had come true in which bond issue resolved.
F& N paid the 2 bondholder series who disagree by Full Amount and Interests.
The debate with teeth had proven, in which my forecast had been actualized.
