VENTURE is my favourite, this is a good company, willing to share profits with their share holders,I bought it about $7.5 more than 5 years ago, every year give me dividend between $0.5 to $0.55, more than 6.5% yield.

major shareholder buying:
Venture - Aberdeen Asset Mgmt - vol 1,283,000 @ 7.20 - holding : 63,736,730 -   23.20%
today sold dwn again...
not surprising. Venture considered a low growth stock, although div is attractive but whether can sustain long term is worrying.
The price is holding mainly because of its div. Imagine what' s the impact to the share price if it start trimming its div?

UOB Kay Hian notes that business sentiment is improving gradually, with leading indicators- US new orders, PMI backlog orders and Taiwan&rsquo s export orders index, showing a firm recovery in demand for electronic products. House reckons that the improved outlook, if sustained, will lead to increased demand for Venture&rsquo s industrial and enterprise products, and is a good time to pick up the stock before XD on 5 May. UOB Kay Hian maintains a Buy rating with $8.85 TP.
A golden goose for dividends
Venture managed to deliver continued sequential improvement in its quarterly results for FY13. We believe this reflects the recovery momentum of the global economy and consequently  Venture's operations, although FY13 revenue and PATMI still came in 2.4% and 6.1% lower than FY12, respectively. Given  Venture's strong balance sheet and our free cashflows/share forecast, we believe its FY13 S$0.50 DPS remains a sustainable baseline scenario.
Looking ahead, although we continue to expect FY14 to be a recovery year for  Venture, we conservatively trim our revenue forecast by 3.7% as there are still pockets of uncertainty in the global economy. Coupled with a higher effective tax rate assumption, our FY14 PATMI projection is lowered by 6.0%.
Maintain BUY on  Venture, albeit with a reduced fair value estimate of S$7.98 (previously S$8.50), pegged to 15x FY14F EPS.   ...last:$7.46...     more
Amex bought Interplex at 2X book value, which is cheap compared with its peer. Venture is not in the same industry, with its latest 3D technology adoption and its  advanced   technology level.    It is   in the higher end of the value chain, how much it is costing should someone try to buy it? NTA of Venture is SGD 6.65/-.
Flex? or who else?Who knows?
