Absolutely great set of results! Exceeded my expectation.
Looking forward to increased dividend in the next payout.
Definitely a good catalyst for further capital appreciation.

Venture is good la. Actually wanted short at $12 but too late and it falls. Next quarter result should be decent.

I was hoping that it will do so after the 50 cents dividend payment next month.
Anyway, i have done my review and decided to hold my investment becoz
1. The dividend payout is great a the yield is still good
2. The electronic industry is still very bullish and likely yo remian so
3,. Venture should be reporting its Q1 result next week and i expect the result to be great.

Wow, Venture has hit my target price of $12 ahead of schedule.
I was hoping that it will do so after the 50 cents dividend payment next month.
Anyway, i have done my review and decided to hold my investment becoz
1. The dividend payout is great a the yield is still good
2. The electronic industry is still very bullish and likely yo remian so
3,. Venture should be reporting its Q1 result next week and i expect the result to be great.

Vested in Venture Corp since $8.2... at current price and DPU, yield is not so attractive at 4.3%. however there is a lot of potential upside due to the semiconductor boom right now.
comparing with other semiconductors firms in SGX, venture' s ROE is slower but also probably due to the higher price per unit.
staying vested to ride this wave upwards for this well-managed and profitable biz.

Venture has not failed me.
Now this is $0.53 away from my $12 target. $0.50 dividend next month.

I bought first lots in this in early 2012...still got the initial lots...bought some more lots since...people thought mad but was happy collecting my 50c dividend...average cost now for my lots is $7.90....now it hit $11 finally selling some lots...hope it pulls back to $10.80 again before springing up again...wanted to buy couple lots yesterday at $10.80 but missed...owe well...will hold in hope goes to $12..
Agree..this one of best stock I ever got...get bonus from dividend each year and now appreciation....needed patience but not going to complain...could have got on a muli-bagger like Best World but this done me well..

Heck, I was asleep at the wheel of the bus at 3pm to 4pm....went for lunch thinking this stock going nowhere and come back and bang it $10.45....when left it was $10.25...
Results may have been good but market does not seem to be really showing much joy about it....
Results are good showing the deep strenght of Venture.
Ya, was hoping they increase dividend. The again, $0.50 is still very good. At today' s closing price of 10.32, the yield is still a respectable 5.16%
Results slightly better than expected....but disappointed dividend remained the same...thought they could have upped it to 55c...shame..
With the 50 cents dividend, the yield will be about 4.6% even at the price of $10.90
Venture is doing everything right with electronic manufacturing growing strongly. Expect the price to gap up on Monday after the result reporting tomorrow.
Given the strong surge in electronic manufacturing numbers in the last 2 quarters of 2016, Venture should be able to hit and maybe exceed the 50mil profit.
Get ready.
