This is where the track record of management in crisis is important. I remembered this management had the foresight to switch focus from CE to ICE products not too long ago when the profit margin of CE started to thin. I believed this management will again be able to steer Valuetronics out of this storm

the problem is valuetronics is being too honest and announce that their FY2021 will be significantly lower performance than FY2020, and saying it is in the toughest business environment in its operating history.. i dont think any other electronic counters give such a bad outlook in the way they write.. at most they just say they expect poorer performance, not to the extent of using the words " significantly" and " toughest" .. i appreciate companies to be frank about their business situation though and this should be the way all companies should behave, disclosing even the worse news possible to allow investors to have the correct information.. the only things analysts are useful is their information that companies disclose to them during investors meetings, which are info not accessible to retailers.. other stuff from analysts such as target price is just a pinch of salt.. cos if they want to fry the stock up or down, they use parameters that are favorable to them to justify their target price.. but in any case, valuetronics have a really strong cash on hand to tight any crisis, and hopefully they are able to win back customers that they lose in FY202
